Teresa & Lorenzo – there really are no words
Teresa and Lorenzo are no strangers to us. Lorenzo has stood in some weddings we have shot and both of them have been guests at more than a few weddings that we have worked at. Each time we see them it’s the same, Lorenzo a gentleman who always greets us with a handshake and a hug and Teresa has a giant smile, looking gorgeous as she always does. We knew this wedding was going to be amazing, so we had it marked with a star on our calendar. If you are curious to see what love looks like, just look at these two, not just on their wedding day but every day.
So, wanna know something cool? Lorenzo is a musician, from a beautiful family of musicians. So, on the morning of his wedding we set out to incorporate this passion of his into his photographs. We were even treated to a piano session just before we left.
The ceremony took place at St. Lawrence parish and it was a beautiful, followed by the most fun part of the day (for us anyway) wedding pictures! We love when we get to shoot somewhere we have never been before. Thank you Lorenzo! He had us visiting for the first time, Ireland House in Burlington, On. The grounds were beautiful and it was hot, but with so much shade around it was a perfect spot! After that we took the party to Carmen’s on the Hamilton mountain, delivering once again a stellar evening of dinner and dancing. (oh, did we mention that Lorenzo and Tre had a full band?? They did, and it was awesome) Bring back live bands at weddings! I feel like we could go on and on about their day and how grateful we are to know this beautiful couple and their marvelous circle of family and friends, but instead let’s just get to the pictures and their wedding highlight video at the end!
Alright, so when we look at other people’s wedding pics, there is one thing really sticks out as posed and unnatural to us…you know what we mean… when you see one guy doing up another guy’s suspenders, tie etc… it’s rare that that happens organically-in this case it did. Hhahaaha except it wasn’t just ONE guy that helped, ALL the groomsmen stepped up to help Lorenzo into his suit. Love when the groom rocks a bow tie, timeless.
Have you ever had the pleasure of eating the best pizza EVER? If you have, it means you took a trip to Locke St. in Hamilton On. or Brant St. in Burlington On. to Na Roma Pizza Bar. If I remember correctly, in his speech Mario mentioned Teresa’s help in naming the place.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, we had such an amazing day documenting Teresa and Lorenzo’s wedding. We are truly grateful to know you guys. Take a look at the video below
